Shop Policies

Thank you for supporting handmade work. Each item is created individually and may have natural variations that make it unique.

Orders

All items are described and photographed as accurately as possible. Because wood is a natural material, variations in grain, color, and figure are part of the character of each piece. In person color/sheen may vary slightly due to variations in lighting and individual screen settings.

Orders can be placed online through this website. Payment is processed securely via third-party providers through Squarespace. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

Order Cancellation:
You may request to cancel an order as soon as possible after placing it by contacting us at: leoparddogwoodcraft@gmail.com. Because some orders may ship the same day, cancellations are only guaranteed if requested promptly before the order has shipped or production has begun. We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time due to unavailable items, payment issues, suspected fraud, or errors. If we cancel, a full refund will be issued.

Terms of Sale

By placing an order, you agree to the following:

  • All products are handmade

  • Custom or commissioned pieces are subject to specific agreements and cannot be canceled once production begins.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price.

  • All website content, including photos and text, is the intellectual property of Leopard Dog Woodcraft and may not be used without permission.

  • These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.

Shipping

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days (Monday - Friday excluding USPS Observed Holidays) unless otherwise noted.

Shipping times depend on the carrier and destination. Once a package has been shipped, delivery times are outside our control.

Tracking information will be provided when available.

Buyers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of handmade items, returns may be limited.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Items must be returned in their original condition. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.

Custom or commissioned pieces may not be eligible for return.

Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the item and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

Wood Care & Handmade Character

Wood is a natural material and may move or change slightly over time due to humidity or seasonal changes. Small variations, tool marks, or asymmetry are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects. 3D Printed Items

While most of my work is hand-turned on the lathe, I also offer a small collection of 3D printed items designed especially for woodworkers and shop enthusiasts.

These items are intended primarily as decorative or light-use accessories (such as magnets, pencil sharpeners, and keychains).

Please note the following:

  • Material & Finish:
    3D printed items may show minor layer lines or surface variations that are inherent to the printing process.

  • Intended Use:
    These items are designed for light-duty or decorative purposes.

  • Magnets:
    Items containing neodymium magnets are strong and should be handled with care. Keep away from children, electronics, and medical devices such as pacemakers.

  • Durability:
    3D printed plastics can be sensitive to heat and prolonged UV exposure. Avoid leaving items in hot environments (such as inside a car) as deformation may occur.

  • Hand Assembly:
    Some items may include hand-assembled components (such as magnets or hardware), and slight variations may occur.

  • Not Woodturned:
    These pieces are not woodturned and differ from my traditional lathe work in both material and process.

By purchasing these items, you acknowledge and accept the nature of 3D printed products as described above.
